It's all go and the next race is next weekend. Ron usually schools us at this track, so it will be fun to see what happens this time.

It was before the Reno incident. I am most likely not going to attend. I have multiple activities scheduled for me this weekend, including my son's baseball game on Sunday (fall ball is always on Sunday). Rich you need an engine?

I'll be there Saturday and Sunday. Is it still OK to leave your trailer there on Saturday night? I haven't been to BlueMax in a while and wondered if it was still safe enough.

I am in!! OK what gear? Have not been here. Will be there sun morning unless you boys are all going sat then I might show up sat. TIRES!!! Rich and Paul I don't think I need these new tires. Brad I do have the front tires and will bring them.

Jeff, you are going to want a 4.5 gear ratio +- to start with. Personally I am switching to my 13 driver just to keep my fifth wheel( otherwise known as my sprocket ) off the track.
Not sure if they are going to eliminate the hairpin. They usually do for the 100 lap clone fest.
Paul, the tires are all yours if you want them.

It all depends on how well you can negotiate the hairpin. I always hated getting on the rev limiter too soon on the front. |

Sorry Jeff, my son crashed through our bathtub floor and now we're in bathroom remodel mode. Tires have to take a back burner for a while. I'll just run what I got till they fall off.
Regarding gearing, I like to run a little higher ratio (numerically) and back it down as necessary depanding how well I come onto the front straight. Like Simon, I have installed the 13T driver so I can use the smaller size axle sprockets. I'll probably start at 4.6 ratio and go from there.

I just read on Facebook the plan for the weekend. We'll be racing with the 206s (not the clones). Track is minus the hairpin with the usual top of the hill section.
Two 8-lap heats and a 25-lap main.
It should be a fun day. NorCal Shifters will be there and there is the 100 lap clone race.
If anyone that is going on Saturday can save me a pit spot, that would be very kind !
Brad .... Are you racing this weekend ?

I knew we had quite a few people with trailers. So this afternoon I talked to Steve and we blocked off an area big enough for us all. Its in the last part of the gravel just to the right before going onto the asphalt of the pits. Just to be sure 4 trailers, counting Brad 1 van, me Should get at least a couple more WF racers from the Davis contingent of WFs Track is dusty and mega slick  |

Jeff, I would pull in no later than 7:30. They usually run it pretty quick at Davis. Its going to be a big race( for Davis ) The NorCal Shifters, L206s, Clonefest, are all going to be there
