Now that Reno is in the books, we need to start looking ahead to Dixon. Ron and I did not go to Reno so we will be fully rested for Dixon. A couple of us are planning a practice day this weekend to get ready, which day do we all want o go? Friday? Saturday? Sunday? Some combination? I have my brakes all fixed so I am ready anytime.

I won't be out there this weekend. Between inlaws and old friends coming into town I'm not going to have any time. I hope I can take next Friday off so I can get some track time in before the race.
EVERYONE PLEASE NOTE: the 7/12 race will be BACKWARDS!

Jessica says all practice sessions the next 2 weeks are backwards (counter-clockwise)
So you guys better watch out, that makes the turns at both ends of the straight left handers, and I understand left handers....

All - I apologize but I will not be attending the 7/12 Dixon event. It was not my intent to miss any of the races this year but with us having 3 races fairly close together, its taken a toll on the family life. My wife and kids want to go to Washington for vacation and we will be driving up there starting July 11 and will be gone until July 19. Also, this gives me an opportunity to refresh a very worn kart so I can be ready for the 2nd half of the season push. !ecar sdrawkcab taerg a evaH - PV

Brad #42, what ended up being the problem with your brakes? It was a simple adjustment, took me about 2 minutes when I got home. Neither of the pads were able to reach the rotor. What's sad is that somebody came by my pit the week before the race and while checking out my kart pointed out that the gap between the rotor and pads was excessive. It never even dawned on me to adjust them. oops

Does that mean when you flush the toilet, the kart flows down the drain counter-clockwise? That's due to the Kartiolis effect...

It seems to me that all of the tracks are counter clockwise in the normal direction, with the exception of DIXON.
