Does anyone know the track hours? Given that it is a night race, I am not sure when (or if) it will open for practice Saturday. Both the #10 and I need to work Friday, so it is Saturday or nothing for us, plus we have a couple hours work to do on the #10 before he turns a lap.

I think the track opens @10:00, and we will be running the "C" track backwards. you can check it out on the Gold Rush web site link to the Stocktown track

FYI
I was at the track on Sunday and they had a sign that said the GR race will be layout F and it will not be backwards.

bad news fellas. After adding up how much it will cost to race this wekend and comparing that to my bank account, I have determined that I will not be racing this weekend at the Stockton GR race due to severe lack O' fundage. Unfortunately this happens from time to time when my paycheck and race weekend don't coincide. Good luck to everyone this weeekend! PV

Dean, thanks for reporting on the track lay out. I like the "F" track better. Paul V, is there any thing I can do to help? (entry fee?) Gold Rush prizes at stake!!!!! You could take the non G/R davis race off if you need to miss one?

Paul: I will sponsor you for the race. You only have to pay me back if you win the Gold Rush prize at the end. Let me know. I had to miss the GR because of injury, lack of funds can easily be solved by those of us that care about each other.
You're also only 16 points out of first place. I am sure Scott would rather you be there to make a great points race.
You have my email and telephone number. Anything I can do to help. You need to race to (1) win the money, (2) try to take the points, and (3) because I cannot race.
You also have to race Davis. I am there with my son racing, and I am not racing anymore so there is an unused entry fee that needs to be used.
