For those of you that can't make the Friday test session and want a pit spot for the PC race let me know. I think there are 4 or 5 of us going out that day and we'll make sure you've got a spot. Just give me your last name and kart number. I think we may have to reserve a couple NFRA hospitality suites as well.

I would like a space. #11, Williamson, please...
I'll be heading out on Saturday, just to try and get a few laps in on the perimeter track. If I'm gonna hold down last place, I want to stay on the lead lap, so it will be worth the crowd to practice on Saturday......

You are going to have to fight me for last place, traditionally that is all mine.

I'll be there Sunday. I'd appreciate a pit spot. I am only racing F200 so I don't need two spots like future races.
What time is a good time to show up for check in and tech at PC?
I'll battle you guys for last place. As long as there is a good battle, it doesn't matter if it is for first or last place.

Listen to all you sandbaggers... We'll make sure you guys have spots Paul and Ron. Tech usually opens up by 7:30 or so. I usually get to the track by 7 which gives me enough time to unload, get sorted out and in line for tech which at that point is only a couple of karts.

You know me better than that Brad, I don't sandbag. I just like a good battle. It gets the adrenaline running and keeps you young.
I'll get there between 7 -7:30. I like to get teched and then mill around and wake up.

Well, is 9 AM on Saturday, and I just got up (for the second time), so I will probably be there around 1 this afternoon...
EDIT... The forecast is calling for rain tonight and tomorrow... I think I will wait till Sunday morning so see how it is. I definitely don't want to drive 400 miles round trip to see the rain!

Easy for you to say! You could throw a rock to the track from your house. I'm waaaaaaayyy up here... I'm going to leave the kart in the back of the pickup and go ahead and throw a tarp over the truck for the night. If it is looking good at 4 AM tomorrow, I'll make the commute, and be there to race! I even have new tires...

Yeah but the thing is, it could be rain cats and dogs up there (being the wilderness and all) and be nice and sunny down here. Oh and Bob O wanted to make sure I called you a woose. LOL

Bob already called me a wuss! Na, I just don't want to make the trip and get rained out. I will check the local radar for Folsom in the morning. I would call you at 4 AM tomorrow, but you probably wouldn't be too happy!

Kurt took 2 seconds off anyone's fastest time right off the trailer, and was in the high 39's when I left.

And one of the Gwynne boys was already in the LOW 39s before I left (I guess before you got there Smoke?). Looks like you F200 pilots better bring your A-game tomorrow, eh? I officially invoke the HP deficit excuse for my performance tomorrow. LOL
Oh and Mitch from Utah was doing very well today as well. He was down in the low 41s when I left and suspect he's probably down the the 40s by now.

Actually I predict this is going to be the type of race we envisioned when we reconstructed the NFRA, There will be a batch of three fast guys going for the win, a pack of 3 mid-packers racing each other, and a pack of 3 backmarkers trying to stay out of everyone's way while still having fun.
There will be lapping in the main, no way around it with the speed differentials I am seeing. But we envisioned that as well, even the fast guys have to learn how to pass cleanly.
