Can you believe our next race is only 2 weeks away! Anyone up for some testing the weekend before the race? I figure we'll watch the weather and decide on a day that has the best change of clear skies?

Testing!? I am racing this weekend.
No rain! No rain! No rain! No rain! No rain! No rain! No rain!
After the race I am repairing the F200. Anyone have high tensile strength duct tape that can withstand direct impact with a spinning clutch?

Someone is missing something here. If I understand things correctly, YOUR race is THIS weekend 3-21/22. I am proposing a test session at Dixon on the weekend of 3-28/29 which is the weekend AFTER your race. Correct? ;D

You are correct, as always. I think I am missing something, but I can't think of what I am missing.

Off subject, slightly. I found out what I was missing, my son actually racing. Today he said he is going to race tomorrow. I prepped his kart tonight. Mine is !!!??!!? (let's just say dirty). He is excited and I hope it goes smooth for him. With him racing I think I finally found one thing that was missing. But now for that other thing(s).

How'd it go Ron? Did the rain hold off long enough to get some laps in?

So no one is planning on going out to Dixon this weekend? I wanted to get some practice in before the race on 4-5 (Crossover race don't forget) anyway but I'm trying to get a couple of the clone guys to go out as well so we can see how fast they are.

BMKC raced Saturday. With the weather pending for Sunday the racers did not show up and the race was called even though we were ready to go.
My son raced Saturday for his first time. Out of 7 racers he finished 4th. I am one proud dad.
For those that want to know how I did you can just call me "crash".

Way to go racer dad! So did he come off the track with a BIG old smile on his face or what?
Sorry to hear about your "incident". According to the after action report I received that guy should have received at least some sort of penalty. Especially since I hear he ran into someone else going up the hill? WTH?

His "penalty" was being able to finish on podium when the times were way off pace. Oh well. You know my attitude about racing.
My day was complete when my son was on the track and truly enjoyed it. All of the kids were great. My wife even enjoyed herself. If he keeps up the excitement, and my younger son has similar excitement, I would even be happy just wrenching.
Last night I looked at pictures of my uncle's kart races in the 1970's, my pictures, and now my son's. I am a proud dad.
I am not going to make it to Dixon this weekend because I have baseball for my two kids and I am replacing parts on the kart to prepare for race day.

Brad, I going, but Saturday is out. I can only go Sunday so I can get a feel for how slow I am.
