OK, in spite of the out I gave myself, my kart is all loaded up, and I will be out to PC tomorrow for practice...

Aaaahhh... and what a good practice day it was! Great to see all the new clones out there. I can pretty well hang with BradW on the track, but my beer drinking skills seem to be getting the best of me! But, I'm back home now and having an ice cold Hair of the Dog that bit me...

Yes it was a fine day out at the track. If I counted right we had NINE 4 strokes out there on Sunday! Unfortunately, Duffy was subjected to a moderate case is PCism. Upon arrival Gary wanted assurances that none of their motors were going to blow up as he didn't want any oil on his track (apparently 2 cycle clutch oil is ok). Then, after Gary saw the accumulated rubber on his tires (like we all had when we started) Duffy had to drive around the pits in an attempt to scrub off his tires because, again, Gary didn't want that rubber to be left on his track. Arrrg. Oh well, only 2 more races at PC. Yessssssss, Paulski you are very fast and I will be sure to bow to you whenever I am in your presence. Tell you what though, I can't wait till you get a WF so we can do some apples to apples races. I know, I know, your (built?) Animal is SOOOOOO underpowered compared to my stock WF. Unfortunately, now that I've driven your kart I get to call BS! LOL I really couldn't tell any difference in power between the two karts (so it must be your driving and chassis setup ;D) I think the WF does have a bit more grunt coming out of the corners. But I think that is at least somewhat offset by the fact that I am at max speed at the start finish line whereas your Animal continues to accelerate for another 200'+ before going into turn one. But, whatever the case, it's some fun racing!

8-)Somehow I sense a bit of sarcasm, but hey if you want to bow down in my presence, by all means, have at it! Now who's doing the SANDBAGGING??!!
Anyways, we'll never know, because I'm selling the my underpowered Animal and the F200 and buying a clone! Also, I'm at a terrible disadvantage because of my shifter chassis, which is not designed for my weak, underpowered Animal motor...
OK, in all honesty, I felt like my kart was faster, even with my weak, underpowered Animal, so I think it is chassis more than driver.
So, my inferior driving skills and my weak, underpowered Animal seem to be offset with my incorrect shifter chassis... It must be because it was made in Italy...
Speaking of chassis, take a couple laps in Duffy's if you want a text book example of severe push when attempting to turn right!
OK... I'm looking forward to qualifying next week!

Don't worry, if I do manage to out qualify you and manage to finish ahead of you in the main, I'll DQ myself for running a weak, underpowered Animal!
I'm not sure how to rationalize that my kart's lighter weight is a disadvantage, but I'm working on it!

Heheheheh oh, and that wasn't sarcasm, I'm just messing with ya. It's just that after our beerfest on Sunday night I just kept thinking about the 27 times you said how fast you are feeling in your kart, the 24 times you said how sucky my kart was and the 51 times you said all you want to do is beat me! You really should focus on one of the FAST guys. ;D

I'm not sure how to rationalize that my kart's lighter weight is a disadvantage, but I'm working on it! Ah don't worry about that. I seem to remember reading somewhere that instead of 10lbs adding a 1-2/10s it ACTUALLY reduces lap times by that amount. So, my extra 30 pounds is going give ME an advantage of 3-6/10s! WHOOOO HOOOO! Go Brad! ehhehehehehe

Now I'm laughing my arsst off! Your kart's not sucky, I just don't understand why you run your seat so far forward that the steering wheel is behind you??!! And I only mentioned your kart's setup 22 times...
Plus, I will have absolutely no thrill with fast lap times until I really have a WF... In fact, now that you have driven my weak, underpowered Animal, and you know that it is fast, my enjoyment of karting has come to an abrupt end. OK, I'm going to share a Speed Secret that Memo didn't put in any of his books. My steering wheel is positioned behind me so that when I spin, and am going down the track backwards I'm already in a position to steer while looking in the direction of travel.
Therapy? What are we supposed to do for entertainment in the pits now???

Therapy? What are we supposed to do for entertainment in the pits now??? Yea, I guess a new-and-improved, well-adjusted, all-better-now me would be kind of boring... Oh, wait, who am I trying to kid, anyway? It's incurable... Don't worry, though, it's probably not contagious... too much... just a few side effffffffffffects... with a potential for heart palppppppppppitations...
