So Keevan managed to blow up his engine...no, actually all the side cover bolts literally vibrated loose and he lost all his oil and then blew up his engine ... So I am looking to replace that engine. Anyone know the best place these days to find a yellow engine at a good price. Probably with a Cl1 cam or BSP1 cam...I can salvage most of the rest of the add-ons from his old engine. Or if the deal is good enough, a race ready one. Thanks! ;D

I still have an in-the-box ARC prepped clone but I just don't know when I am going to be at the track next. If y'all could move it closer to Marin and put some whole-track A/C in I'll be there! (101F today?!?!)
I might have a second motor for sale too if I can't sell Zachs cadet with the engine on it.

Mike, post an add on the norcalkarters classifieds for you clone cadet. When I was selling my son's cadet with a clone I got quite a few bites there (admittedly 90% of them time wasters), but some genuine people with cash in pocket. Also try craigslist, I posted there on the SF bay area CL and it sold in 20 minutes.

Sorry - just reading this now (9:20pm). I am actually thinking about going to the track this Sunday to check out the new surface. I also hoping to hand off the last few Aixro/Intrepid parts to Paul if he is in the neighborhood (Paul??).
Although.... I am seriously thinking about just continuing with the clone for a while. I was hoping to buy a new chassis and a WF with the proceeds from the Aixro sale - but shoot I have a race ready kart sitting on my trailer! Seems sort of silly to be changing without even had a race yet!! That would mean I probably should keep the engine as a spare.
I posted an ad for the Cadet on CL and norcal today. Will see what the market is like! Wow - so many cadets for sale there.
My cell number is 415 five-seven-seven 37 25 or mike.wood -> gmail

Thanks Scott...actually it's the air-conditioning he put in the top of the case (about 3 inches wide) where he blew a hole in the thing that makes me think a crank and rod will not do the trick I believe this one has bit the dust...
