I was thinking about son to the next race. Does anyone know of the race is still on, or are the bugs winning?

I was there last weekend until 1pm and there were no bugs.

It all depends if I get my new tires or not. I only had one race on my tires, and after that last race my tires are junk. They are at the point that even I would not race them.
What time does a club race day typically end? My son wants to race kid kart at Dixon to get his "x" off, but he has baseball camp starting Monday morning for 6 hours a day. I don't want him too tired.

The club races are finished by about 3:30 or so, and last week when Mark was at the track the bugs came out just after he left about 1:15 but not tooooo bad. There was no wind!(not normal for Dixon)Last Saterday at CORA, Paul reported no bugs with winds of 35 to400000000MPH.(normal for Dixon)
Between Paul and I we can come up with used but not used up tires for you Ron.
Lets go RACING!!!! ALL NFRAers welcome, even W/F (ha ha)
Saterday morning testing and practice (at Dixon)
Saterday afternoon after setting up camp Paul and I will be taking our fast fours to the dirt @ CORA where Paul was last Saterday nites Dash winner.
Sunday morning, after clearing the dirt out of my head we go racing F2s @dixon. All W/Fs and Clones welcome.
Come check it out at CORA Saterday nite(watch or race watever you bring), camp at Dixon and be ready for Sundays club race.

Thanks for the offer of the tires. I have a set of rear tires, but can't find the pair of fronts. I guess I can't find the fronts because I haven't really looked.

Like Scott said ron we have tires. I know that I wont be on new tires I'm pretty sure Scott will be running a used set also so lets get out there and have some fun!

i don't have a problem running used tires. It's just that these tires after the last race are looonnnggg past not having any dimples on them. The sad part is they only have two races on them, and no practice days. It was like they went through a shredder. I was watching rubber spinning off of them. We even saw long strands of rubber wrapped on the spindle. It was interesting, but
I just don't like to borrow things that I will tear up. I am extremely hard on tires.

The Dixon club race is on for this weekend so come out and see about bettering your race skills, getting closer to where you want to be as a driver and having a great time doing it.

Borrow? Who says I'm taking them back? I undestand now. You have to throw these away but are willing to throw them to me to dispose of them for you.  Hey, that works for me! ;D Some people have commented to me on the junk tires I've run in the past. If it has a little dimple, I am racing.
