I thought clones worked best with used tires. If you get too much grip you will bind up.

I will quickly turn them into used tires ;-)
So far, I haven't had a problem with too much grip.
I thought I would see how the new L's performed.

I have been using the YLCs this season on my WF/Emmick. Lot's of hopping (PC>Davis>Reno). PC even included some two wheeled episodes. The YLCs have much more traction than the YKCs, probably too much for a clone.
If you want to buy some, Comet has the 6in rears available.
