Hello, here is a video of a new clutch I bought. If I was a more experience karter I never would have mounted it. It vibrated so back when it tried to hook up I think it loosened some of the side cover bolts. The bolts were not lose or leaking oil before! I contacted the company where I purchased it and one of the engineers at the manufacturer and they were very negative about returning and replacing it. Of course they are baming it on me and my inexperience. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBHihV1x_90Reddogg55

Unless you are going to try and return it, I would take the bad one apart slowly, while at the same time taking the good one apart just as slow. I would then measure and inspect every part as it comes apart to see what the difference is. You can then see what is causing the problem.
Do the shoes collapse and not provide fricton on drum of springs are broken?

There is a problem with the manufacturing of the clutch. The clutch was sold, returned for defect, left on the shelf for over a year (should have been returned to the manufacturer) and resold to me!!!! There is more to this situatution that I can post on the internet. I already have someone in contact with people in the Heartland. I am planning on going to the party Saturday evening and I will explain what is going on. Ron call me if you have a few minutes 530-624-1251
