Someone (or several someones) on here have the title "god". Shouldn't they be able to fix the weather for us?

Heyyyyyyyyy, that's right. I noticed that title a couple years ago when Paulski became a "god". As the admin you'd think I'd know how they did that but nooooooo. Could one of you three please get the weather in line for the weekend?

Weather is not looking good, I got an email that the Prairie City race for Sunday, March 25, 2012, was re-scheduled.

Just had lunch w/ Don Stewart, he shared that a visit to Dixon's track yesterday concluded that standing puddles exist on the pavement inside the pits. The thought was, that track could not take anymore moisture. We'll hope for the best.

So.......
Do we load up the trailer, then drive 2-1/2 hours, and help to set up a huge tent over the event, or trust in the weather forecast???

When do you have to make the go / no-go call Dan ? The folks at Dixon say they will make the call this evening. The forecasts are a bit all over the place. They all agree there will be rain, but don't seem very sure on when. It's blue skies and lovely in San Jose at the moment, hard to believe it will rain at all in the next few days.
Man, this is like the discussions for Reno June 2011 ... and all we got then was a Saturday afternoon of practice and an NFRA group breakfast at Denny's in Reno on race day !

Ok, the decision has been made. This just in from Malainie at Kinsmen ...
"The Kinsmen race scheduled for tomorrow has been CANCELLED. The weather forecast is not looking good – calling for RAIN."

Oh, RATS! Say it isn't so. The next race isn't until April 22nd. We really need to get together for a "practice" day between now and then.
I'm always ready for a practice day at BlueMax or Prairie City.
