Thanks Simon- Was gonna travel south tonight, then meet all you smiling faces at the track early Saturday. With a change of plans, comes opportunity. A race @ Chico's Silver Dollar Speedway is the new destination, an SKK racer will run there. Alex Schutte won it last year, so we'll hope weather holds out for this two-day event. Well isn't that just sppppppppecial. OK, next year we aren't scheduling anything till July! So what if we have to race every weekend. LOL
I agree with Mark, we need a practice day somewhere at least. I already did my practice date at Davis and need to get some work in at PC.

I'll look at my calendar, I might make a weekend of it and do a Sat at PC and a Sun at Dixon (I've already done my pre-season test at Davis). I need to build up my racing muscles (whatever they are!).
It's still sunny here in San Jose ... what's happening up around Sacramento ?
I'm really bummed, I need to get out and race ..... maybe I should just go and enter the IKF race at Simraceway/Infineon next weekend. There may be some WFs there. I can think of cheaper ways to be humiliated though.
Bored .. bored ... bored ... what to do ?
Hey Brad, do you need new shirt graphics with the first date crossed out ?
Are we going to try and add another Dixon race or just drop back to one for the season ?

I think it should be crossed out with thunder showers over it. Dixon calendar shows their rain date is October 28, 2012. However, I think the PC rain date is also October 28, 2012. What to do? I'm bored too. Oh well, I still have to wash my truck to get ready for the Little League parade and our opening day. |

Definitely a long time.... Earlier in the week I revisited the master schedule to see if there is another race before the 4/22 Atwater race. The only track racing before then is Redding. I wouldn't have a problem racing up there (although the thought of sleeping in my Sequoia in April doesn't get me terribly excited) but I wonder what the turnout would be since we are already going up there two other times this year? |

I wanted to go to that just to get a IKF punch but alas I am heading to Mexico. Work not vacation Although I am going to look up the same guy I borrowed the dune buggies from last year I am up for anything when I get back! Its 9:00 PM at still not raining  |

So, ah, are dune buggies an integral part of a general contractor business these days? You had me right up till that part. Although, I gotta hand it to you. I don't think I could pull off telling my wife that I'm going to "work" down in Mexico for a week with my buddies. A bunch of guys heading down in a "party van" to "work" in Mexico...but you are doing your work in dune buggies. Ahhhhhh, yeah. I bow to you sir!  |

I have my NFRA shirt on today anyway ..... it's not helping, it just makes me more bitter. I don't even have any wrenching to do on the kart.
Oh, I do have one big change on the kart for this season as well. Can't say too much at the moment though, I can't squander the advantage.

So far the rain is hanging outside Sacramento. We had our parade this morning (a little cold). We are waiting to see if we play at 4:30 pm. I have not completed my lineup. Usually if I am 100% ready the game rains out. If I procrastinate the game will go forward.
It's going to be cold on our pitchers.
Simon, you can wrench on my kart all you want. I have new bodywork in my office that needs to go on.
