I am going to the LL field tonight and meeting with another manager to try and get a substitute. If I can get a substitute I will be there. Daniel will also come hoping for some Kid Kart racers showing up. Last race they had none, but the first race they had a couple.

Well if all else fails you can resort to bribery. What am I saying, you are in the legal profession so you already know that... ;D

Not sure what everyone wants to do for food on Saturday evening, but I was thinking I could chuck my gas grill in the truck and we could BBQ on saturday evening if that appeals ? It's not a super-duper grill, but it makes heat. (Bring your own dead animal).
Let me know if you guys are interested and I'll load it up.

Well if all else fails you can resort to bribery. Already working on that. It is not illegal as we are performing volunteer functions. The problem is we never had things on Sundays. This is the first year. Because of that nobody wants to trade to work on a Sunday. I am working on my last potential substitute tonight. I am going to offer to work his bullpen tonight to get some of his pitchers improved. I hope that doesn;t come back to bite me when we play them next week. As for food it depends on time. If I come then we will be staying in Merced where they have a indoor pool so my boys can swim. I have to keep them entertained and in good spirits.

In the interest of not having to load a bunch of crap in my cooler (plus I'm lazy) I'll bring along some dogs.

I should have suspected Brad would put his 2 cents in.

Does driving around with a BBQ strapped in the bed of my truck make me a fully certified redneck ?

I plan on arriving late in the afternoon on Saturday. Please save a spot for me (and my truck). I hope to get at least one practice session in.
Thanks, Mark

I'll be there as soon as I can figure out how to photoshop something onto my frame and have it look real while sitting on the grid. How can I make a photoshop "sound" real?

I was looking at the Atwater website, it says: "Every Saturday, before any club event, is set aside for a work party. If you plan on practicing that day, and you do not want to assist in the work party, you will be charged a $40.00 practice fee. Members and nonmembers alike" It lists Sat. 4/21/12 as a work party day. Just a heads up for everyone. Or, are we exempt? Maybe Ron could come with a laptop and do some Photoshop work on their track.

SoundShop. Jeez.... Regarding the track workday, I wouldn't have a problem helping out assuming it is an hour or two. Nice way to build some goodwill with the local folks and save $40 at the same time.

I'm good with helping out at the workday.
Also, if anyone has a coffee pot (and coffee) that will work on a gas burner, bring it along for Sunday morning coffee. My grill has a side burner that would work for that if anyone has a pot.
