I need to pick up some race gas and the closest place that has it in stock is the VP distributor in Stockton.
If anyone is passing (mon - fri) and could pick me up a can I would be very grateful, otherwise I'm going to have to get over there myself.
Oh, I guess this only applies to anyone that is going to Atwater at the weekend, otherwise I would not be able to collect it anyway.

You may want to talk to Rich. He had to buy 5G at Laguna which is more than he wanted.

I'm not giving up any of my magic elixor Simon, my commercial fuel supplier will purchase out of Van Pol Enterprises. I probably need a few days to get the fuel on their regular delivery route. It can be delivered to our Sac. outlet. Let me know.

Sorry Rich, I wasn't trying to give your stuff away. I thought you didn't want all that fuel. Especially since, based on last year's results, Chevron 89 seems to work the best! Oh Lord, what will I do to pass the time when one of you guys takes the WF crown? LLLLLOL.

Does NFRA run a spec fuel? If so, what's the detail?

No spec fuel Dan. We're following the IKF WF rules on fuel which I think is : gasoline, no additives, 93 octane max

Simon- There's a performance advantage when comparing octanes, so choose wisely!

If memory serves, the NFRA Test Facility determined in 2008 that the optimal octane for the WF was 89.3. While that is below the spec listed in the manual, it doesn't seem to cause detonation. I've mentioned that before, right?? ;D
I think what Dan was alluding to was the fact that you make the most power by using the lowest possible octane as long as detonation doesn't occur. Am I close Dan?

EXACTALACKALY Brad! Some opt for 98 or even 110 octane thinking it will help performance. Instead, they paid more, and got less.

BTW, the NFRA test facility is an amazing resource to karters worldwide. To the hard-working men and women that make up that thriving enterprise, we appreciate your efforts!
