Since Ron will be making the race I figured I might as well get the thread started now....

Really!!! Really!!!
Oh should I just make a deposit when I get there to pay for future violations?

Ron, it may be easier for everyone involved if you were to just leave a credit card with the bailiff. As you know the NFRA accepts Visa, MC and AmX. ;D

Maybe we can have a NFRA KC Fun-pass.
$30 at the start of the season buys you financial immunity from all infractions for the season.

Was it my imagination, or did someone allow their axle to get lose and move so far sideways it caused the brake rotor to explode .... at the one place in the track where you really need brakes ?

Was THAT the cause of his rotor explosion? Well, even if it wasn't the cause, I say we go with it! GVI (MAJOR) for Ron. ;D

Might as well, but I actually tightened all of the fasters before that Heat. I was having some noise so I tightened all fasteners, set screw, carrier bolts, and even retightened the caliper. I really don't know how it happened, but it was an AWESOME ride. Full throttle around the bak and it was finally kicking in. Approaching the hairpin and lifted. As I started to press the brake, BOOM, clank, clank clank (sound of rotor banging onto the asphalt). No brakes, and the hairpin to the right, and the other track turning to the left going back to the banked turn. I opted for left, and started scrubbing tires, and scrubbing speed. I had to reenter the track before the bank, and was glad you guys were not approaching yet. I finally started losing speed enough to go off track. It was an experience. I am going to recheck things tonight to see if I can figure out how it happened. Maybe I should bring in an independent investigator because the NFRA let it leave the track without compiling evidence. I left it in the middle of the parking lot for over an hour for the investigation. The prosecutor must have failed.Brad, did I leave my credit card with you to cover my charges? That ride was well worth the admission.

Maybe we can have a NFRA KC Fun-pass. $30 at the start of the season buys you financial immunity from all infractions for the season. I didn't see this option. I opt for the $30 fun pass. I really did have fun and plan on having more fun. Maybe my stearing wheel can fall off next time. Let me see, what corner at PC would be best.

Ron, did I or did I not specifically ask you on Saturday if you wanted to go the Fun Pass route or the CC route. And did you not respond that you were going to provide a CC?? The Fun Pass can ONLY be purchased BEFORE the season starts. Otherwise, wouldn't every one just wait until they had racked up enough fines to cover the cost of the pass. Granted, I didn't ask you until you had been running around trying to get two karts on the track, chasing your sons around pits on their scooters and changing a set of tires. And yes you may have looked a little frazzled, but timing IS everything, right? Hehehehehehe

FYI, I am all repaired and ready to go. I am going to take my kart to Dixon when Daniel races the crossover. In between his stuff I am going to go through mine and see if I can learn what a WF is, and how it works. I may even actually make sure it's put together. I will also try to break-in the other WF I have. Maybe I can keep it together at PC. When is the next race, 4 weeks away? I have plenty of time.

That is pretty harsh. You sandbag, win the race, and then you are borught up on charges. Changing your number won't help. Thay are a hang-um high kinda group and will follow you until they get you.
Look at me (as I go flying past you at full speed and no brakes). Everyone said brakes were overrated in racing (i guess until you need them at that 180 degree turn).
We'll show them at the next race.
