Sadly my camera battery died in the first heat, so no footage from that. My 4th to 1st progression as the spins and mechanicals gradually unfolded before me would have made for fun viewing. Instead we have a rather dull video of the main, the only other kart I see is Don about half way through. I figured out how to screen grab the results from MyLaps and stuck them at the end ... I think I'll keep doing that to preserve a little history ... but only if I win. A bad Saturday for Rich who bust a crank, but who ran fast with Brad's spare motor on Sunday. Brad struggled for speed on Saturday, but made some setup changes for Sunday and suddenly found an impressive pace. Ron blew everyone away with his qualifying performance but unfortunately clipped a berm in the 1st heat and threw his chain and with it a certain win slipped away. He also had a clutch go south in the main that set him back quite a way. Quiet day for the Kangaroo Court, but I'm thinking maybe not entirely charge free. youtu.be/AMIyOQH86VASo Brad ... where's your helmet cam and hat cam video ?

Here ya go Simon... vimeo.com/41803141 It is just basically the start since once the race is underway there isn't a whole lot to show. Ron definitely had it going on in qualifying. But I think the most amazing thing was how close P2, 3 and 4 were. Does "throw a blanket over them" adequately cover 77 THOUSANDTHS of a second between the 3? Holy cow! The hat cam provided by NFRA Films for the Kangaroo Court had some "technical" issues. It has been sent back to the Test Facility for more, ah, testing. Speaking of the court. There were definitely some more violations. Not only that, the scuttlebut is that an entire new catagory may be added. Keep an eye on the KC board...pea picks and outside row, what could that be about I wonder?

Oh, and I forgot something very important. Congrats on your second win of the season Simon. Way to go! Just don't be hogging up all the wins, eh? ;D

Good job Simon. Fast, Consistent, made no mistakes. Deserved the WIN.
You had Brad and myself all fooled with that first practice session Sunday.
I thought the hastily gathered kangaroo court rules committee had agreed the next new category was going to be warm-up lap behavior?

No that wasn't going to be a rule as the actions of the 90 were clearly covered under the Inciting Track Mayhem provision. Oh, I guess we need to start a PC thread over in the KC, don't we?
