Here's a little teaser of the video to come sometime soon. Brad discovers the fastest way to remove his air-filter. Anyone else think this looks like track mayhem ? Major! Oh, was that a little premature?!

After I got out of my kart I had the benefit of hearing the race announcer's brief analysis of the incident while you guys were still racing. According to the announcer the 47 got into the hair pin way too hot (would explain the tire smoke I saw) and way too deep and "the 9 had no place to go." Personally, I thought it was just one of "them racing deals" that resulted from some good hard racing. Now, if the matter is pressed, let me remind you our next race is at PC and Sam will again be announcing the race and he will be my star witness. ;D And Ron, just be quiet.... LOL

I never getta say nothin'! If only it were true....if only it were true. Let me ask the greater NFRA community something. Has ANYONE ever seen an attorney get short changed in the yapping department? Didn't think so, case closed.

After I got out of my kart I had the benefit of hearing the race announcer's brief analysis of the incident while you guys were still racing. I was merely asking my fellow racers if it looked like mayhem ;D, I wasn't attributing any blame at all. If I was looking to blame anyone, my eye would be drawn to that little blue kart driving away to the right. He is a convicted repeat offender, so building a case against him should be a no brainer.

Good point Simon. Seems to me maybe the 90 parked in the corner which initiated the whole thing....yeah, that's the ticket!

I'm happy to leave at a racing incident brought on by Leo who had the audacity to keep passing me ! Leo's passes were clean and didn't cause any wrecks, where as I'm obviously still trying to master that skill !

Good point Simon. Seems to me maybe the 90 parked in the corner which initiated the whole thing....yeah, that's the ticket! You say "maybe the 90 parked in the corner". Saying "maybe" one time has just removed all credibility for future changing of testimony. If you had your eyes open, to set up for the corner properly you would have seen if there was an obstruction, which there was not [except for maybe Simon trying to race his own race without being blindly struck]. Not fully understanding the KC rules [if there are any] I think not being aware of the racing conditions can be a chargeable offense, but that is not for me to say in this instance. By way of example, on a parade lap, if you see the number 90 kart in front of you, then you must be aware that anything, and I mean anything, can happen! And if you then strike the number 90 kart, or drive off the track, you should then face charges for not being aware of the racing conditions. ;D

Good point Ron. I was well aware of 'race conditions' especially in the hairpin, we all had to be. I actually had to be aware 'practice conditions' and 'qualifying conditions', as it was in practice, qualifying and race where it seemed like every other lap I would arrive at the hairpin and see a certain #9 kart reversed into the barrier having over gone into the hairpin 'way too hot' and 'way too deep'.
Being aware of such conditions ahead, I slowed appropriately and proceeded around the corner leaving my air filter firmly attached to my kart and my axle remaining straight as an arrow.

You are absolutely correct Simon regarding the condition of the 9 in said hairpin earlier in the day. However, by the main I had made sufficient adjustments that I was back in control....well, right up until there was a kart in my way. ;D The crappy part is had I had another 4" or so I would have been able to clear you... And Ron, are you talking again? Does everyone see what I mean about attorneys?
