I'll not go in to details here in a public forum, but wanted to get it out there that I am sorry to have neglected you folks for the better part of a year. A serious health issue led to a serious employment issue, and I was concentrating so hard on fixing both that I let karting go for a while. One of those "Life happens" deals.
As a result of the aforementioned employment issue, I have a new email address hendrickson1@frontiernet.net . Please change your contact list to that one if you don't have it already.
In the meantime Brad#9 picked up the NFRA ball and ran with it, and I'd like to publicly thank him for that. Wrestling with schedules, sponsoring the crossover race (Great idea!) and all the other little things that it takes to keep us clicking along as a group. Thank you Brad!
So I am easing my way back into the saddle again, which means you should at least see me around more. For the Dixon night race I am cooking for the NFRA for sure on race day (Saturday) all 3 square meals. So for those camping at the track to get in friday night practice you have a guaranteed country breakfast to start off the race day. Gourmet dogs for lunch, and smoked Tri Tip for dinner.

Well welcome back! Thanks for the kind words but you know how it is in the NFRA, it is GROUP effort. ;D
I do have a concern now regarding the night race. With all the stuff you will be cooking, how will I maintain my girlish figure?? Jeez!!!

Big thanks to both Brads for staying and helping scale out my kart. It took longer to get Mark's kart together than we all thought. But they stayed to help me find out my % on the scales It really was a team effort to get the WF on Mark's kart.

Brad, that would be awesome to have some group catering going ! (My peanut, beef jerky & Rich's Doritos raceday diet gets a bit old after a while)
