Sorry guys, I do not have a video over 90 sec long from all three races Simon, is there a way to dbl check about erasing and reformating the video cards? What is the deal?

That sounds like dead batteries Rich. Are you certain the LED was still on and red at the end of each heat ?
My camera eats batteries, it seems to use a set every 2 heat races.

New batteries that night. Not sure about every race ending. But the one time I forgot to turn it off untill I set my helmet in the seat. The light was still red? ?

So I finally worked out my camera problems :
Heat 1 - Recorded all race no problem
Heat 2 - Recorded partial race then stopped. I assumed, wrongly, that the battery went flat and replaced battery for the main
Main - Recorded 5 seconds on grid then stopped
It turns out the memory card filled in heat 2, which is why it stopped, and why it recorded virtually nothing of the main.
Rich, I'm puzzled by your problems. I would suggest a reformat of the micro-SD card for starters. You will have to do that from a PC, I don't see any way of making the camera do that, shout if you need instructions (don't reformat you PC disk !)
What make and type of micro-SD memory are you using ? Make sure it's at least Class 6.
When you forgot to turn it off, did you have it running for more than 30 minutes ? The manual says it will 'roll over' from one file and start writing to a new file every 30 minutes. Maybe you have other files floating around somewhere ?
What kind of batteries were you using. The manual has a warning about cold weather use (but I assume they mean really cold, not Dixon in the summer cold). "For best results, use only AAA Energizer® Ultimate Lithium Batteries. In cold weather, use ONLY this kind!"
Here's a dumb question. You know you run the camera upside down, is it possible the start/stop button is hitting your neck brace and switching off ?
I'll bring my laptop to Reno and we can have a play on Saturday and see if we can figure out the problem.

Simon, I'm glad you have the same camera!
My camera did the exact same thing the first Dixon night race It recorded the entire first heat, albeit at the wrong angle then just 60 secs or so of the next two races
Thought I was erasing the videos after downloading them to my hard drive.
The second Dixon race I got 60 secs or so for every race. Although what I recorded looked to be at the correct angle. Yea!
Using Amason brand class 10 card I bought with the camera
Need instructions for reformating. Thanks
Going to buy a new card for the next race
