Nice video Simon! I love your commentary. ;D The other thing that struck me (well one of them anyway  ) was the track looks bumpier on video than in person...and I didn't think that was possible. LOL |

Originally I told Brad the track was not any worse than before. After that race I changed my mind. Also I am sitting here nursing bruised ribs. When I drove to San Rafael yesterday every time I turned left my ribs hit my padded seat in my truck and and hurt really bad. That video just confirmed how bad the track is.
As I also said Sunday I am sorry for getting into the back of Brad. I was trying to get a run for the back straight and from my recollection I actually hooked up good on that turn going in and Brad slid a little wide which scrubbed some speed. All I know is I yelled "crap". I didn't realize Rich and Simon were right behind me but I was looking and hoping that you did not damage anything. Again I am sorry. I would change it if I could.
Also I see Rich at that first curb going up the S to the back straight at an angle pointing to the left (5:51). You should actually be pointing straight up so you are perpendicular to the back straight. (see 10:41 for an example) At least that is how I was taught. I think that angle is what gives me more speed going up the hill on the back straight.
