I don't really mind if we jump in on the BMKC banquet to be honest, so don't attach too much weight to my original ramblings.
I'm happy to go and have a small salad and glass of warm water anywhere ! (Remember the 380lbs!)

Just my two cents worth. Last year at the end of the Blue Max banquet several people were glad that it did not stretch into the late night. I quess it has gone way late in the past.
Are we going to be able to relax, joke, diss people as a group if we are working in the Blue Max schedule? I would like to enjoy rehashing the season with all of the NFRA group in a casual atmosphere.
I am going to the Blue Max regardless. My vote is for a separate deal

My vote is for a separate deal That's right we won't be able to do our own thing. Vote for different "most likely to". (I know I am KC). I am going to the Blue max anyway but I think Rich is right on with the comments.

I am booked both weekends. I'll see you all at the scheduling meeting. Oh that sucks Scott. Two years in a row? d'oh! OK, so 12-1-12 at 7pm it is. Unless anyone has a preference on locations (which I assume not since no one responded to my question before I went on vacation) I think we should do the same Round Table in Davis we've been going to for years. If anyone has a second to call them and make the arrangements I'd appreciate it. Otherwise I'll call them tonight.

With the awards banquet this weekend the 2012 season is finally wrapped up.
Awards were presented to Ron Carello as World Formula champ, Simon Whitworth the World Formula runner up and Mark Savarese as the Box Stock Clone champ. Way to go guys!
We also determined our 2012 driver awards during the banquet. The results are as follows....
Driver of the Year - Ron Carello (unanimous) Most Improved Driver - Mark Savarese Driver Most Likely to Cause a Wreck - Leo Refsland Driver Most Likely to be the 2012 King of the Court (Kangaroo Court) - Ron Carello (unanimous which really shouldn't be a surprise) "Go to" Driver for Technical Help - Dan Pelizzari
We also have some new club officers! Simon Whitworth is now the NFRA President. Rich Huston is our Technical Director. Don Steward is our club/track liaison.
A big thanks to Brad Hendrickson for his years of service as the NFRA President. Hopefully we'll still be seeing you out at the track!
