Can I get an understanding of what each generation means and what we need for racing with the NFRA?

The WF motors went through some incremental updates over the years (gen 1,2,3,4 & 5). This website shows the differences ... www.fastermotors.net/BLOCKEVOLUTION.htmlAny generation motor is legal and can be run, but the gen 5 is the latest and greatest and certainly what I would be looking for if I were buying.

Not every Gen is useable unless it has the PVL ignition and rev limiter. My understanding when I was looking is that the earlier Gen's do not meet the current requirements.

Ahhh ok, thanks Ron. I didn't realize the old ignition isn't legal.

I was going to get one and tach out at 8000+ but then I realized that someone would figure it out.
