As usual, the entertainment value is high w/ this group! I was just talking w/ a guy that races Animals there, sub 35 second laps running on alcohol is their goal @ 350#. I think you guys can run with them!

I knew it, something else is going to take priority over my racing well-being. I don't think I can trust you to have my kart ready to race if you are going to be focused on organizing a toolbox. Again, not a problem Ron. Just take the pit next to Simon. As long as I can reach both I can multitask (AKA screw mutiple things up at once). A clean toolbox is a sign of a sick mind! ;D Clean? Who said anything about clean?? Obviously you haven't been around for toolbox reorgs before. ;D Please leave your toolbox outside of your trailer on Saturday night.

Has this got anything to do with Geometry, or Ron?

Has this got anything to do with Geometry, or Ron? It has nothing to do wth me! But pretty soon I will be blamed for everything. All I want to do is continue with my variable axle geometry studies.

Done with baseball until Wednesday. We had 3 games in 4 days. Wow, that hurt bad. Oldest son pitched a full game for the first time, for a win. Other two games were lost. One in the last inning, and the other with an umpire that is disabled (blind).
Maybe now I can try and get something ready for Sunday. Depending on how my preparation goes, this may actually be a drop for me. Saturday I have to run the baseball field (from 1030 -2:30), then our game at 3:30 - 6pm. Then school function right after. Probably not going to the hotel if I decide to race.
I may just load up in the morning and drive over early and race. it is what it is. I don't even know if the kart will start. I should at least clean the dirt off of it so I look like I am ready to race.
Rich: I know you need fuel so let's meet up sometime and I will give you the 1/2 can. I also have a full can so we have plenty. I just think since you are going early you can use it. I can bring it to your house tonight or tomorrow night, or it is in my garage.

I'm not much better prepared. My motor is stripped down to a bare block as of this evening. I guess I had better put it all back together.

No. We run a blend of racing fuel and nitro-methane. It works great on the first lap, but then it kind of goes away, and we putt around for the next laps until we finish or blow.

That MR12 is like $27.00 per gal. Using just plain old Motorsports 93 , actual R 90 octane fuel Honestly do not see any measurable diff. Was using it just eliminate any variables from the fuel side

Then I give some to Rich, who doesn't really know what is in the can. (Shhhh, I give him AMPM 87 octane! ;D)

I'm running the mr12 in the wankel definitely a measured improvement on the old but dyno.... never tried it in a clone or f2oo yet but heard its a big advantage.... its firmulated for low compression plus its oxygenated

I could see where it might help you out Paul in the high end stuff you've got but I've never been able to tell any difference whatsoever between 100+ octane and 89 when it comes to our little lawn mower engines. When you talk to well know motor builders in the area (like Bob Snow) they will always tell you run the lowest octane you can as long as you avoid detonation.
Other factors like driver, setup etc. seem to have a WAY bigger difference in laptimes. At least I can actually tell when I'm driving like an idiot or my kart is handling like crap (as it has been all year so far). Not saying that differrent gas doesn't make a difference...just saying in these motors at least I've never been able to tell the difference. Just my 2 cents.

Speaking of fuel, will there be a food truck at the track for lunch on Sunday?
