GDI-Ron decided to do an experiment as to which is tougher, his motor mount or the concrete berms. Seeing as how he came in with only one bolt holding his motor on I guess it is safe to assume the concrete won the battle.
GVI - Scott was also in an experimenting mood it seems and used too big of a clip to hold one of his front wheels onto his kart. This resulted in a spectacular launch off the track when the wheel went one way and he and the kart went another. I could see the driver of the 9 pulling a bonehead maneuver like this but an engineer of the caliber of Scott?? WTH?
WED - Terry knocked over her gas container without the top on resulting in nearly 85 gallons of gas spilling onto the pits. Luckily, for once I didn't have a smoke hanging from my mouth so a major explosion was avoided.
GVI and/or CHP - Simon arrived at the hot grid for the main with a socket attached to his spark plug rather than the customary rubber plug cap thingy. Of course then the question became, is the spark plug really tight or just finger tight? So Simon frantically had to run back to his pit to grab a ratchet to make sure.

Inciting track mayhem #9 - After several laps going into the bowl, the #9 established a line that he drove, knowing that the #90 was right behind him trying the inside line. This time, the #9 went wide like always, and #90 took the inside line. As #90 was passing, half way through the corner, the #9 dove down into the inside line to BLOCK the #90, and drove on TOP of the front bodywork of the #90, causing the #90 to go off track.

Ohhhhhh, so you are always supposed to take the SAME line? Well that sure would make things easier if you are trying to pass. Had position? Since my back tire contacted your nose I'm thinking you weren't quite there yet...definitely couldn't see ya that far back. ;D
So when are you getting here? Rich is looking for some company for the moonlight run on the dirt oval inside the sprint track!
