As I told Rich, mentally I am just not into racing right now.
My plan for Atwater was to show up and drive. Whatever happens, happens.
I don't know why I lack motivation. I am just overwhelmed with everything else and am having a hard time getting excited about it. The best time I had this weekend was gearing for top speed in the bank. I felt like I was going to lose control and go airborne, and that got me excited. Maybe I just need more of an adrenaline rush.

Ron, you're seemingly gravitating towards hunting bear with only a stick? Much like the sensation of feeling a loss of control in the woods, a few high-speed spins (inclusive of a few 360 degree track viewings) just might make you reconsider! One thing's for sure, your friends w/ NFRA can surely assist with putting the thrill back into driving when you find your way up north. Mount those bumpers tight Y'all, Ron wants to be thrilled!

Update- at least 3 Redding guys will bolt on WF packages, and run w/ you guys @ 390. MG Reds is our tire too, so should be nice to mix it up w/ a few more racers. For the record, all are quality racers.

Excellent !! It looks like my odds of making it are now 80/20 and rising.
It will be fun to have some different guys to race against.
Did you warn them about Rich already ?
Maybe I should email them my youtube video so they know. (I'm kidding Rich .... honest !!)

Good to hear Simon, and for those that run a magnetic pickup, we've just installed 3 more strips on-track. The added tuning feedback, in sector form, should help w/ gear selection too. Yep, d**n near Formula One!

oohhh I think I still have a magnetic pickup from back before Dixon repaved and it got too deep to work.
And I'm up to 100% certain to be there ... work likes me to take time off to go karting apparently.

Good stuff....and thanks, moderator, for cleaning up my wording BTW, a friend just sent a signed print from the Goodwood Festival of Speed, worthy of a special frame. Jolly ol' England knows how to put on a show!

Have video all edited and ready, but it will not upload to youtube! Still working on it. The first heat and the main are almost throw aways because almost nothing happens in front of me. But the second heat is full of action and I have included the whole thing. OK, lets take you thru this real slow. The video the shows the incident in question was recorded by Simon. That would mean Simon would have to be behind me . Are you following this Brad? So I pretty sure that means you could not be behind me at that point in the race right. So I think your memory is in question and subject to full cross examination in all future issues. Just a point for the court to remember Public apology announcement Scott I apologize for the attempted pass in the last corner. In hind sight and under full video review it was a stupid move. I actually cost myself positions in the race. I had the speed but not the time or place to do it.

I had the speed but not the time or place to do it. Rich, I don't really see it that way. You were along side Scott before the red and white corner. You were just too far inside on the curb. Racing incident. At 5:58 you made your move. At 5:59 you were almost nose to nose, and no contact. At 6:00 you were on the red and white, and still 1 foot separation, no contact, with 2 wheels on track. With all due respect to Scott, he still had over 4 feet on the side of him, with that wide concrete section. Just not sure he knew you were there, but you were side-by-side, and Rich was on the inside. Again, I say racing incident.

Again, I say racing incident. Regardless of whether Rich is guilty of anything, YOU sir, are very close to a contempt of court violation for arguing a case outside of the hallowed chambers of the court. Escpecially since no charges have even be brought in said case. I know I've asked this before, but, didn't you learn anything in law school??

OK, I gave up on the fancy editing software and went back to the old Micro. Movie Maker. Just posted the second heat only. The first heat I just follow Brad around, and the Main I just follow Simon around. Although there is certain point in the Main where Simon decides to downshift in the bowl and I almost drive right up his tailpipe Second Heat- Otherwise known as " Where all the fun is " youtu.be/TKngJLGc6J4

Nice! Thanks for posting that Rich ... fun to see things from your viewpoint. In fact, your pass in the grass on Scott doesn't look too over ambitious from your seat.
Nice job on dodging Keevan when he span in front of you.
Lots of action in that heat for sure. Intense !
