Hey Brad, not really sure what we are doing. To be honest 107-108 is a little toasty for me. That said I am also considering whether to keep racing or bail. Keevan is sorta into it (I think he likes hanging out with you all more than the actual racing) and my other half is less than excited about the cost and time involved. I'm at the point where I have to decide of it is worth the extra stress. It's making me drag my feet about getting ready for this weekend. So I'm really moment to moment right now. I'll let you all know when I know.

The hard part is getting organized and ready when you havetwo or more karts to deal with. That is simply exhausting. When I have to deal with my stuff and Daniel's stuff at the same time it getys to be too much. That's why I usually set things up as close as I can and don't change anything. If I get rid of the fun factor of the actual racing then i don't want to do it.
As for cost, sell off as much as you can keeping the bare minimum to race. Then race. Even though I can buy a bunch of new stuff as needed I try not to. The last time I checked no Daytona 500 or Indy team is looking for someone my age. It is supposed to be about fun and excitement.

This weekend WILL be toasty. 106 tomorrow, 107 on race day (and 108 on Monday)? Really? The hell with beer, who is bringing the popsicles?? I hear ya Terry. By the way, I've got a set of reds for ya. Hope to see ya this weekend but if not, next weekend at Davis? Planning on being at the track tomorrow by 12. |

I think what I'm feeling is burned out and I just need to give myself permission to skip a race or so. This weekend is Jonah's birthday and too hot so I'm going to pass on this race. I'm going to shoot for next weekend at Davis and see how I do. Thanks Brad I can get the tires next week. I appreciate the support guys.

Everyone dress appropriately this weekend. Heavy sweater, gloves, warm hat and bring plenty of hot drinks.
