I know it's only October and you probably have no idea what you are doing in December or January but I wanted to see when people would prefer to hold the awards banquet.
I like doing it in December to round out the year, but I know people's calendars get filled with other holiday stuff.
Would you prefer Dec 2013 or Jan 2014 ?
The next question will be where ? I don't care as long as they have enough beer to stop me getting thirsty. Were we happy with the pizza place last year ? I can't remember if they treated us well or not .... that was a long time ago.

Either works for me. If we could schedule it in early December (before the holiday season hits) that would be good.
I think we need to find another place this year. RT wasn't very good last year. And maybe a little closer to the Bay Area for you guys down that way? Vacaville/Fairfield?

I am good with what ever date we need to schedule. But I agree we need to do this closer to the left coast. Besides RT is so boring. Lets find a good pub with good beer!

My son's travel baseball team is scheduling a tournament in Las Vegas. Maybe we can consolidate the two events?
I am good for anywhere.

Sorry guys, been too busy at work to follow up on this. Looks like we'll do this in Jan.
I'm open to Sac area as there seems to be WAY more choice of beery/foodie kinds of places.
Scott B. As you are the only other southerner, would be be ok if we did that ?

Don't worry about picking a weekend for me in January. I will be around each weekends because we have baseball tournamens for each weekends of 1/4, 1/11, and 1/18. If weather holds up that will be about 12-15 baseball games total. They play during the day and I can show up for dinnr at night.

Anyone ever been to Stars recreation center in Vacaville? They have good food and I think it is open to all ages in the bar/lounge/restaurant, big place and they have a back room/area if not in use for a party. Bowling lanes, with bumpers! Laser tag-after a couple of pitchers? Here is the website. I did not make any races this year but hope to be back on the track in 2014. www.starsrecreation.com/index.php

I might have been there a few times. The 25th/26th are booked. The holiday weekend will likely be booked soon.

What do we think gang ? Jan 11th at Preserve Public House ? We can see if they can do us some assorted food spread ?
We'll need a feel for how many people will make it. I'm open to alternative ideas if anyone has any.
And I might stay up in the area that night and maybe have our 2014 scheduling meeting the following day ... or on the Saturday afternoon ?
