So .... I just got off the phone with Brad and we were throwing some ideas around regarding when to get together for scheduling and an awards banquet.
Given we don't have many takers for a banquet of any size, why don't we try and have a scheduling meeting this Saturday afternoon (1/11) somewhere in the Sac area (Rich's shop, or Brad's garage ?), then head over to the Preserve Public House for food and beer in the evening and have our awards there ?
Originally we were thinking of reserving a room, but as the numbers are small, we'll just reserve a table.
Who's in for that plan ?

That works. I am at Little League tryouts. If I get a Majors team then I will be done by 1pm if not sooner. If I get a AAA team then I will go to about 2:30pm. You can do scheduling without me, and I can meet you as soon as possible.

Ok, confirmed ! Rich's shop at around 2pm.
Jon Ban said he might swing by as well as he's trying to get the NorCal Shifter schedule squared away this weekend.

Originally I suggested the Preserve Public House as an option for a close to midway meeting place. Now that we are all at my place in Sac I think it would be time and travel wise to just go to some place local. I have major connections at The Shack in east Sac. ( Pretty much the epicenter of craft brewing in Sacramento). There are at least five other places we could go locally to make it easier
Just a suggestion

Anywhere Rich has major connections AND sells good beer gets my vote. Like you say, that area means less driving around.
Rich, I'm not familiar with the layout, but do you think they would have a corner they could put us in so we have a kind of private area ?

I am in for anything. FYI I got a AAA baseball team (Uggghhh) so I have to stay later for tryouts. If I am not at Rich's just schedule without me.

Don Stewart & I had our own racing mtg today in Willows. A few beers, even talked of a plan to beat you guys! Of course, we got faster w/ each sip, now it's time to prepare for the Syd White Memorial. After that, look out NFRA!
