Need some help putting in my clone motor I have 2 choices
This way place motor closer to seat and run the clutch inboard
OR Run the clutch outboard and move the motor to the right aways from the seat

The general rule of thumb is to get as much mass as close to the center of the chassis as possible. Do not know your drivers weight but you always try and go for that perfect R/L 50/50 weight split on the scales. You will never get a perfect % on the splits. All things being equal ( chain clearance, seat clearance, possible seat strut clearance, room to work on the thing) I would go for the motor in as far as possible.

Thx that's what I was thinking now I just need to find a chain guard that will fit

I find that having the chain inboard (closer to the motor) is the Best senerio, but the chassis can negate that from being possible.
