And, how about the WF crowd? Who is committed to all 4 Gold Rush races? BradW, I would figure! JohnV doesn't do internet, so he'll never get this question...

Yeah John and I for sure. Dean should be ready to rock by then but I haven't talked to him. Luis and Dave are possibilities but I haven't talk to them about it and I'm not even sure they are aware of the GR series. I'll talk to them about it.
For the A-water race there will be some WFs coming up from Santa Maria. Not sure about the other races. With the money on the line they may be more likely to make all the races. But I really don't know.

Now shortened to a 4 race series because of technical issues ith the Davis scoring system during the first crossover race. The remaining Gold Rush races are: August 2- Prairie City Kart Club August 23- At water Kart Club September 19- Stockton Kart Club November 1- Kinsmen Kart Club
worth noting is that the NFRA 4 cycle decided t keep the Davis 6/21 date on their schedule. That will be "our" next race.

Just heard from Cory and it looks like he and a couple of WFs are coming up from Santa Maria for the A-water race at least.

For sure A-Water (got the setup and gearing still written down from the nationals 2 years ago) and maybe Stockton.... How is that track anyone know? Know I say for sure only if we can have a field. I hate making the pull to race 1-2 guys..... lets see if we can pull, dare i say 10-15 like we do at Santa Maria :-)

LOL NO idea of what the Stockton track is like. I don't think (certainly could be wrong) anyone from the NFRA has raced there before?
Also have no idea how many WFs to expect. Even if there are only a few, if nothing else that will increase the likelihood that we will be combined (my preference anyway) with the F200s so you can duke it out with the F200s Cory.

I just heard from Dean and he is committed to the entire series. His buddy just got his WF so hopefully he will be able to make all the races as well. So, at this point it looks like 4 NFRA WFs for the series.
Cory, I KNOW (having made the trek a number of times now) that it is a long haul back and forth between SM and Sacto, but, might you and your SM WF buddies consider doing the entire series? You do know there is prize money involved, yes? For A-water and Stockton I think most of us will be camping at the track. For the PC and Dixon races I'm sure we can find accommodations for you and your buddies.

You have striked my interest with prize money. How many karts must we have in the series in order to pay out. Every Pro Race I have been to has a min entry before they will pony up. Whats the winners share?

The other question I have is what will you guys be running as weight. If you are south of 365 I am tanked. I am hoping north of their, maybe at the IKF regulated 390 since its a pro race and thats what WF's are running across the IKF nation? eh eh

You have striked my interest with prize money. How many karts must we have in the series in order to pay out. Every Pro Race I have been to has a min entry before they will pony up. Whats the winners share? All "official" GR class with receive a payout regardless if there are 3 or 30 in the class. I THINK what they are doing is taking a portion of everyone's entry fee for each race and applying that to the payout. So, if there are 8 WFs and they apply $20 per entry, per race we'd be looking at over a $600 payout. Again, I don't know the specifics of the formula so your mileage may vary. LOL

As far as I know there is no "official" weight established yet. Since we are most likely the only WFs (although there may be a couple from A-water) running I think they will allow us to pick a weight. But, like I said, I don't really know. I'll talk to Jessie from Kinsmen and see how the GR officials are planning on handling class weight structures.
