My clone motor is only running anywhere from 370 to 400 temps but I hear they should be running hotter for best performance . So what are my option to make it run hotter lower jet size?

Much has to do w/ ignition timing on the clone motor, in addition to jet choice. What jet s are in it now?

Jet choices need to be made based on data acquisition. As for engine temps, 370-400 CHT is normal for Briggs, cooler for Clones. As shared, ignition timing does far more to influence CHT, and second to that would be chassis resistance. If you're in the ballpark on lap times, be glad your cooler, if not, thinking you'll have to look beyond the jet.
