Here you go guys. First of the 2 GoPro videos from Monterey this past weekend. This is heat race #1. It only lasts about 5 laps due to my unforced spinification skills and then, giving Simon nowhere to go, he gives me a nice "Hello there" tap and away he goes, no worse for the wear. I limp back to the pits and begin repairs. Big huge thanks to Scott Bura for helping me straighten the front bumper and get ready for Heat #2. Sorry, no camera was mounted for race 2. I re-mounted the camera on my helmet (race 1 was shot from the front faring) for the main event. That will follow in a few days as it will take a number of hours to upload due to the resolution. Anyways, enjoy #1 ! www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkEXmBcaF2k-PV

Very nice videos Paul. I completely forgot you had two less teeth than I did and you surprised the CRAP out of me at the end of the straight in the main. I assumed I had more cushion that I did due to the spinout that happened a couple laps before. There I was tooling around in 90-95% mode and WTF!? There's Pauley! LOL Got back on my horse but after changing my lines and generally driving like an idiot I couldn't get away again. Good job. When I saw you were a corner behind me I assumed you must have spun someplace and I was able to go back into NMM. Here is The main

Enjoyed the video! That was a triple 9 race, w/ Paul letting out many years of excitement in Monterey, and Brad on a Sunday-drive. Loved the enthusiasm demonstrated after the race, that's why we all are involved. One thought....some rpm loss heard in mid-to-exit, is that the result of trail-breaking, or chassis bind? If it's brake related, KNOCK IT OFF!

When you say "KNOCK IT OFF!" do you want him to do the Ron method and literally just knock the brake pedal off while racing. I can attest to the fact that you will be going into the next corner without braking. I see some KC violations in the videos ......... .

Truth be known, there's not enough surface area on ANY track for two karts to run the RON METHOD, in the same race, at the same time!

I see some KC violations in the videos ......... . You are absolutely right Ron. The ironic part is I understand that are all against the #90!
