Thanks guys, for making the trip north! A fast-paced weekend, felt bad that time was at a premium, so not as much time together. Gotta say, very few bobbles, you guys brought good stuff over the weekend! On occasion, Paul helped to keep the leaves spread, but then settled into a nice pace, as Rich cussed at Willie's tires, all the way around the track.
I heard that maybe a few grumbles about grid positioning surfaced? Please share...what did i miss?

That's me grumbling. I always grumble. I emailed you the specifics of how I understood it (or did not understand it). But overall I had a blast. The club always puts on a greast day of racing.
I wish I had a shifter to just do the start of their race. I don't think I would want to do their full race.

That sounds like an admission of guilt to the upcoming EW&S charge.

I would like to say thanks to the whole gang at SKC for a great day of racing. The track was great. weather was great. Did not get to hang with Dan, Jeff, Rich, and Willy as much as we would have liked.
Willy deserves the credit for a nice race win with no mistakes and the better race lines the whole day. Even when I got in front of him I could not hold him off for long.
Thanks Dan for all the tuning expertise. Even though you now have me so unsure about setup for PC( another traditionally overstuck track) I do not know where to start as a baseline
Looking forward to the night race!!!
P.S. I started on the outside in two out of three races and did not whine about it all day

That sounds like an admission of guilt to the upcoming EW&S charge. Nothing I did, said, or posted, even fits the EW&S. My crack legal staff fully researched that issue.

Big shout out to Brad for having an extra seat strut that I could bolt on. Without that strut my race was over after just 6 total laps for the day, and only 1 qualifying lap. Now I just have to find a replacement.

Geez, sorry Ron! When a club runs only one heat, it's normally straight-up on grid, but SKK thinks you guys are special, so we provided more laps! With two heats, qualifying times must factor in, as the tie-breaker, and yours wasn't good, so shuffled ya to the back of the bus. My suggestion, put round steel inside the broken seat post so added strength is achieved, before welding.
As for Rich, it really is true, knowledge can be a curse (ignorance is bliss) with a steep learning curve. Keep notes for cause & effect, you'll learn it, then clarity will follow. It will get easier too. That chassis looked really good Sunday, take some satisfaction in knowing you made the right tuning calls.

My suggestion, put round steel inside the broken seat post so added strength is achieved, before welding. There is a round steel rod in the post. The weld simply re-broke as they ground off the weld to make it "look" good. Then when it broke, with the kart flex, it simply lifted off the rod.
