Hi guys,
Brad and I were talking to Bev Ban about the 6/29 race at PC. As it's bound to attract a good turnout, if we want to have our NFRA pitspots all together we need to make some plans. Basically we need to know two things ... are you coming ... when are you arriving ... and are you camping ?
Please respond asap so we can get back to Bev and see what we can do to secure a few pit spots together.

Just back from vacation! I'll be there Saturday and Sunday. Richard, glad you and Jeff are going to make it! Keep working on Willie...I think he needs a little payback for kicking our ass up there. Maybe we should have a little post practice BBQ over at my place after practice on Sat? I'm only a few miles from the track and that way you guys don't have to worry about fixing up any grub at the track. And if anyone wants to take a dip in the pool they can do that as well. There is power at the track, but I think that is only for the main building. For racers in their trailers they have to bring their own generators.

Bev Ban told me that there are 11 LO206 racers coming along as well, so we'll have a good 4-cycle showing !

I went out to the track today to see about pit spots. Because of the number of trailers/campers we will have, our normal location in the middle of the main grid isn't really an option. Bill and I determined the best location would be out in the "back forty". Most of that area is marked with chalk lines for pit areas. However, there is one big section (roughly 60’X50’) that will be reserved for the NFRA. We should be able to fit all of our trailers/campers in that location and then pit in an adjacent asphalt area. Our section is in the most southwest section of the facility. If you get there before I do on Saturday just ask for Bill McAlister and he will direct you to the right place. This may be a crazy race in terms of turnout. Be prepared to unload your vehicles and/or detach your tow vehicles so they can be parked across the street.

Sorry guys but I won't be making it this weekend. Tweaked by back the other day and it's still not race ready.
