I came to the realization on the drive home that my acceptance speech was woefully lacking. I enjoy all of your company at any of the tracks and venues we attend. I know our awards banquet is a less than formal affair and the refreshments were flowing. So let me make my gratitude known to my fellow NFRA racers for this season.
Brad - You kept the racing alive for me during the season. Numbers may have been down at times but you could be sure that we would be nose to tail at some point in the race. Always enjoyed your company on the overnight pit stays. I know you had a frustrating season at times but you kept on racing. We all appreciate what you have done over the last few years
Simon - Our President did such a good job for us that he was reelected unopposed again. Thank you for all of the behind the scene work that you have done for the season. Plus your quick wit is always a welcome addition to the pits. I know you raced less this year , with some mixed results when you got out there. But other than needing a time out at Redding you always came back with the right attitude that everyone in the NFRA tries to promote
Ron- With out the loaner motor my season could have been a lot different. Thank you very much. Wished you could have been out there more. Once again the exact type of racer that we want for the NFRA
Paul - I am glad you are back. We always need new people with the skills and enthusiasm to keep this racing going.
Scott - I know we did not see you out there much this season. But thank you for your work with the points and standings
Jeff - Do not think that we as a group don't realize what it took to race with us this season. I appreciate your dedication to the sport and your club. You get the travel award for the season
Dan - Always a pleasure to talk to you, ask some questions, debate some issues. Once again our answer man for all things
So to say again, thank you to all my fellow NFRA racers.
