My name is Jack Cook I met some of your members this last weekend at the Sid White in Marina. I checked out your website and you sound like a fun group. I have a WF and will be running WF heavy. I am planning on attending the Atwater race on Sunday Mar 8. Question is Sat the 7th an open practice day? and secondly is there overnight camping at the track ? Looking forwards to meeting more of your club members. I might go this upcoming weekend to test and break in another kart if is done for the weekend.

Welcome. We all run heavy to run just one class. I would normally be in a lighter class but I put the weight on the kart and we run together.
Some spend the night at the track. I typically stay at a hotel because I would rather have a pool, shower, bar, restaurant, etc. But that's just me.
Atwater does have practice the day before. I am not sure of the cost, but it is not that much.

Hi Jack, Good to meet you on Sunday ! Glad to hear you are going to come and race with us.
Yes, Atwater usually lets us camp in the pit area on the Saturday night. I'll confirm with them and post on the forum once I have done that.
Last year they had dirt oval races on the Saturday morning and they try and have that wrapped up, cleaned up and the tarmac sprint track open for practice by 2:30pm.
