I'm getting ready but I am not feeling it. I have all the parts and tires but have not put it together yet. I also changed the front spindles since breaking that one 1 1/2 years ago. It finally puts the front end back the way it is supposed to be. I don't even remember what the measurements are supposed to be.
Also we just had out first baseball game. Seven innings (instead of 6). Tied 0-0 in the 7th. We are home and come up to bat. All I need is one run to win, no runs for a tie. We tie with Daniel in scoring position. So far out of 10 years, best game ever. It was a battle!!!
Also they may cancel the race because of possible rain. I really don't feel like going and then getting rained out. Maybe I'll go rock climbing instead.

The engine Is still not together. I don't think any of us WF's are going so I think I will go rock climbing.

As the night rolled on I decided I would attend. I got everything together, except for mounting the engine. I would do that at the track. Unfortunately, at 3am my mom called not feeling well. I dressed and went to stay with her. She is better but I decided not to race as I was exhausted.
Maybe the April 24, 2016, race.

I might join you Ron. Having a date to aim for might get me motivated. Kitchen remodel is finished, the garage is no longer full of kitchen so I can get the kart in there to work on it (the garage, not the kitchen).
What tires do I need ? MG red ? I saw some post that my SA 2005 helmet isn't valid at BM anymore, is that true ? I thought WKA and IKF extended the SA2005 helmets for one more year. I think my driving suit has fallen apart, so I'll be racing in my PJs.
Hey ! I sold a set of brand new Hoosiers today !! There is a guy who has built a private dirt oval with his buddies in Gilroy. They are just tooling around with some sprint karts with harbor freight predator motors. He said I'm welcome to go down and play. As it's on my doorstep I might just do that for fun. They are doing some strange things with a dirt tire on the outside, and a slick on the inside. Anyway, it's local, non competitive and the guy seemed like a good guy, so might be entertaining.

Actually, the first KPX race is May 1st at Stockton. Not sure I want to do two races back to back weekends. I guess it depends on how many WFs are showing for KPX.

Sunday's race at Blue Max was rained out after the 1st heat. 90+ karts for the day. 20+ jr II, LO206, would have been a great race! NO World Formulas!
KPX race in Stockton May 1st. There will be a lot of karts.

Helmet SA 2005 is good until 12/20/2016 according to the Blue Max Facebook page.
