Wow, that's quite a difference in gear ratios between Mike's group the group last Sunday.
I still haven't heard where on the straight Scott was hitting max rpm, but I can guess that Mike, John, and Duffy are maxing out MUCH sooner...

My foot was in it until the braking zone so I have to assume max revs at the end of the straights.

But going by the times we ran and they ran we were close so its kinda give and take between corners and straights... what would benifit you more?

I would say it comes down to driving style and what your competitors are doing as well. If you are behind someone that always leaves the door open on the uphill, and you are geared to take advantage of that then you can pass them. If you are geared taller maybe you can pass on the straight. Or if you suck like me you gear lower so you can squirt off the turns, but run out of wind halfway down the straights.
