Yup - i would also start at 14/66. Same thing I ran last summer as well. One thing to look at is we will be running Track Layout # 4 (you can view all of the layouts on the NNKC website). The front straight starts long before you actually get on it. When you come out of turn 7, you don't use the 7a kink so you get a hell of a run coming down to the front straight. Turn 8 is deceptively fast and takes some getting used to. When done correctly though, it practically squirts you out onto the front straight and allows you to keep your speed as you continue down the hill toward turn 1. Roller coaster baby! Roll Er Coaster!! Turns 7 through 9 are my favorite parts of the course. Turn 5 (similar to the Laguna Seca corkscrew) is another favorite. Very easy to go off here. But done right, its an absolute blast. Its my favorite kart track I've ever driven on, bar none. Sorry -went off on a tangent there. Got all excited just thinkin' about it. Its a great track to tune for because there is so much going on with elevation changes, track surface, etc. You'll love it!

Thanks for the replies. I run a 13 tooth driver most of the time and I have gears up to 60. Sounds like I need to at least pick up a 61 and 62.

You might want a few, the exit to turn 1 eats gears for breakfast.

You might want a few, the exit to turn 1 eats gears for breakfast. As in, strips teeth because of F200 power, or off the track ripping off teeth? Hopefully between all of us, we can find our optimum ratios...

There is a monster curb hat you HAVE to use (it is part of the racing line) but if you drop a wheel off the right side the gear hits the curbing hard enough to turn the gear into a taco, and maybe tweak the gear hub as well.
