Back To the rules i was wondering if every one was still planning on running stamped Max troque clutches to keep it a "drivers Class". Brad and I were talking about it at the PC X-over and it seemed fair, so that the driver didnt have to spend more on the clutch then the whole motor.... let me know your thoughts my family and big pauls family would like to stick with te stamped clutchs 45 comperaed to 200-300ect

The only real debate comes from existing NFRA drivers who happen to have a disk clutch on hand. For them, it is $45 vs $0.
My belief is we stick with the "stamped clutch only" in the ruleset. But as a non-clone driver I shouldn't have much say in it, you guys need to keep talking about it when we are at the races, engage the Dixon guys and bring that feedback here.

As Brad mentioned, cheapest is what you've got. I prefer the Burris rule. As I happen to have both (Tomar disc and Noram GE) I am OK with "drum clutch". Any brand, stamped or not. At our level I don't think it's possible to measure a difference between two properly set-up clutches.

I just ordered a Draggin Skin drum clutch to try on my F200 (yes, I know 3 disk is preferred). If I don't like it for the F200, I would like to be able to use it on the clone motor I plan on purchasing later this year, so I vote to allow any drum clutch.

"Drum Clutch" I think it should be "any" drum clutch... too close to make a difference as Scott said.

I found out this past weekend that the Max torque has a better starting ability over the Noram but the Noram worked just fine for me to pass the Max Torque and win the main!
