Who is that ?? Everyone might take notice of the Red Kart in the Clone class on the track at Prairie City. You have seen that number 48 on a Blue Clone, That's right racers, Not just a paint job from blue to red . I really lucked out and came up with a newer rolling chassis that just so happens to be red. Isn't red faster ? Like a little kid at Christmas with a new toy, I was out there deep into the night setting up my new Red chassis to fit me. Remembering all the important things and some of the tricks I have read and was told by our great group of racers. Watch out, I still have that dream and it stronger now. My old blue kart was great, But when Mike and I took my new red kart off the stand and I sat down in it I had a new great feeling. The feeling of a winner. Go Red Racer Go. See you at the races. ;D ;D

Uh oh, ANOTHER kart in just a couple months? Sounds like we need to find a 12 step program for you Duffy. Not that it did me any good. Just get used to saying "hello, my name is Duffy and I am a karting addict". ;D

My new Red kart is about ready to test drive out on the track. I can already see and feel a difference in this kart. Such a good feeling. Now I think its up to me the driver to make the next move and get out there and take the lead. ;D

Thanks, guys... I missed being there...
More than likely the only race I'll make this month is at my local track in Redding for a night race on the 15th... At.water is almost 300 miles away for me, and HOT!
The NFRA night race at Stockton in September sounds like fun, but I have a race in Redding the next morning... So, at this point, who knows...
I do have a potential electrical job in the Sac area that I need to give an estimate on... Maybe that will get me down there racing again this year...

Paulski, you were missed! no anamals in the GR at PC. Yes Paulski, we had no one to sing to us. Here's an idea. If you can get away on the Friday afternoon before the A-water race you can swing by, do the estimate, stay here that night and we can head down to A-water first thing on Saturday for some practice. A few of us are camping and a few are staying in hotels.

You are the NFRA idea man, indeed... Getting out on a Friday is no issue, as I usually take Fridays off to dirt bike ride, anyways... I guess I can even face another race on crappy old tires to save money, while everyone else is on fresh stickies... and sleep uncomfortably in my truck at the track to save mo-money... I guess I can face the 600 miles of round trip driving... ho hum... The thing that keeps crossing my mind is.... At.water heat in the middle of August... Ouch... Did I mention that my B-day is August 24th, the day after the race? That makes to WHOLE weekend my B-day... SO... we'll see...

It's your birthday that weekend? In the immortal words of that great American, Scooby Doo, "Rut Row". If you do make it, I'm thinking that what "we'll see" is Paulski dancing around the campsite with a lampshade on his head singing the night away. LOL

as long as the lampshade has a Snell M2000 label o the inside, its all good!

Really? They make Snell approved lampshades? As a proud lampshade wearer myself I did not know that. Hmmmm, something else to buy before heading down to a-water.
