We just got started and its about over already ? Four races left and the three of us (John ,Mike and I) will be at all four races with our clones. I have really enjoyed this summer of racing and meeting all the folks from the Norcal Four Cycle Racing Association. I'm very happy to be part of this. I was wondering if all the four cycle clone guys could get together at the end of the year for one last big race maybe at the Dixon track. We could have this race at the end of the Gold Rush Race which ends at Dixon. Each Clone driver who races puts X amount of Dollars into a pot. This pot would go to the 1st- 2nd & maybe 3rd place winners. We will be doing all of the Gold Rush Races. Plus the night race at the Dixon Kinsmens Race track on sept 5th and 6 th. What do you Clone Drivers think ? Should we have one last big clone race of the year. Darn this has been fun. ;D

Ya know, there doesn't HAVE to only be 4 races left. There are still 3 road races left (two at TH and one at Infineon). I was over at Terry Ives house this morning and asked him what he thought about BSCs running at the road courses and he thought it wouldn't be a problem. He said if 5HP flatheads can run at the road courses BSCs sure as heck can. If you BSC guys are interested I'll talk to the NCK about getting you added as a class. I don't think it would be a problem at all.
One thing about RRing is it is a bit more expensive than a sprint race, at least on the face of it. But, if you look at how long you are on the track it is actually less expensive. Sprint race, $65 for what, maybe 20-25 minutes of track time including practice, qualifying, heat and main? If you run both races (you'd be in the same races as the WFs) and run all of practice you'll be on the track for close to 2 1/2 hours. Race fees, around $200. However, the NCK offers a special to bring new racers out to the track. Existing members can bring along a new racer and both can race as many races as they want for $100 each. I'd be more than happy to sponsor someone.

Brad, I would be very interested in doing a road race with you. I'm not sure about my son's John & Mike yet. What they would like to do. But as for myself, I'd really like to join you with a road race. Now in the past we needed 3 to make a class in order to race, is this the way it is with road racing also ? It would be nice if we could get a couple of the other Box stock Clone driver to join us at the road race it would open up a new world of racing for us. I'm up for it and would like to do it. Thanks Brad for the offer.

Duffy, you do realize that we have 4 more club races, not including the G.R., at the Kinsmen track?
Add in Athinger, Stockton, and Dixon Gold Rush, you have 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dixon will usually run any class as long as we have 3 or more karts and some advance notice, of course the more your bring the happier the BoD is!

At Dixon we welcome all classes, F-200's W.F.'s and clones. Even animals if you want.
My point was that there are more than just 4 races left, so come to Dixon, where all "mowers" are welcome! ;D
And like Brad said, there are some road-races left also!

Now in the past we needed 3 to make a class in order to race, is this the way it is with road racing also ? Not always. As long as it is a NCK "class" you can be the only one that shows and still be able to run. The reason for this is that contrary to the way sprint races are run where you generally have only 1 class per race (except for 4 cycles of course lol) in RRing you might have 5 to 10 classes out there on the track at the same time. The main reason why you would want to have at least a few BSCs out there is so you have someone to race with in a drafting pack.
