First of all, I would like to welcome you to the world of racing clones. My sons and I started this year and we are having a great time. The weight for the B.S.C. class is 350 lbs. We are using YHC tires That some of the guys gave us. Used tires are the way to go in this class. Hope to see you at the track some time. we have a night race in Dixon with the Kinsmen Kart Club this weekend. We will be running Sunday night, If you have time come on out and join us. I'm sure you would have fun plus allot of your questions can be answered also. We have a great bunch of guys that can help you. Hope to meet you soon... Duffy #48

To Echo what duffy said, welcome aboard. The intent of the clone class is cost control, so the preference is to run USED Bridgestone YHC or YKC because that is what most of the rest of the NorCal racers run on, so they nearly give them away. Norcal is phasing out the YHC and starting to use the YKC now, so for a little while both will be available, but pretty soon you will only be able to find the YKC.
I also echo his advice to come out to a race before you get too far in to this. Besides the realization that we are all having a ton of fun, you will learn a lot as well.

I'll have a well worn set of YKC's free for the taking at Dixon this weekend, let me know if one of you guys want them. They have 3 races and about 4 or 5 days of practice on them. The YKC's wear a lot better then the YHC's.
