Another bad idea, in my opinion, is to penalize for having a chassis that is a certain age or less... It's arbitrary...

If you can't go fast with an eight year old kar, what makes you think a high doller new one will be better? If that's what it takes to make you happy, go for it. It seems like most of the older karts are worn out and/or bent to the point that thay are expensive to upkeep$ Did you know, the M/T clutch only handles up too 350lbs Don't you think the BSC moters are doing well @350lbs?

Well, I don't care personally, because my CRG is around a 2001. However, I do have a 2005 GP6, and I think it would be silly to have to add weight to a 32mm shifter chassis that will not perform as well for BSC as my 2001...
I'll get to the weight issue in the other thread...
