Yea, the thought occurred to me that no matter which club you race with, 8 of those races will be big... Wow, 12 races... I need to win a gas card for next season! Or, I need an econo-box car that gets great mileage, and leave my kart in the Sac area...
Or, I just need a trust fund!! Waaaahhhh!

Thanks, Duffy! Na, I just need to put aside the funds for karting as far in advance as possible... If there are 12 races I want to make, then that is at least 1200 bucks in transportation money I need to have... Heck, that's only two truck payments, and guess what, I made my last and final truck payment on September 1st!! In one week, it will be the first time in 5 years that I am not sending 600 bucks a month to General Motors! So, I think I will have the whole season covered, and will start bringing my travel trailer next season, as well... Thanks to the lawn mower class, the financial fear of grenading a motor doesn't exist... I might even race the F200 motor once in a while, as well... Now, if I can make a few more extra bucks, road racing is calling me...

Who am I kidding, there are probably 20 races I'll want to make next year... Still, it would be VERY COOL if I can pull it off, and THAT is my intention...

Wow, 12 races... I need to win a gas card for next season! I wasn't suggesting that we WILL do 12 next year. That's just what we usually try and shoot for. However, that is why I asked the question in an earlier post regarding what the "right" number of races would be for the majority of NFRA members. It doesn't make a lot of sense scheduling more races than most people can handle and only having a couple people show up for any given race. Maybe we take it down to 8 if that would help folks make more of the races on a consistent basis. I don't know what the right answer is. I've got 17 races on my schedule this year and that is about the max number for me.

I think 10 out of 12 is just fine for the CUP. If I need more races I can pick them up at other events with my TaG, or R/Ring. Thats about a race a week from March to the end of Nov..
