Brad, are you planning on being at the Nats for the open practice on Tuesday? I doubt I can get the time off, but it would be at least as good as coming to the pre race. 12 hours of lapping you better bring a spare motor :-)

Yeah, since I won't be able to make the BW race at the end of May my plan is to head down there for pretty much the whole week. And yes, I'm planning on taking at least one spare motor. In fact, I just dropped one off at Terry's place yesterday and will take my other one in after I get through this 3 races in 3 weekends stretch coming up. ;D

Just an update to the forum. Per IKF / NCK the Road race masters license has been waived. Any kart driver with 2 years experience (Sprint or Road Race) can race in the grands. I hope that means well see some more NORCAL WF's!!

I raced my shifter at BW road course, and although it was bumpy as hell, It was a really fun track... Almost like a giant sprint track... I'm envious!

Yeah there should be. I think you can find the class list on the NCK site.
Are you going to reserve a pit spot? I think they are going for $20.

At the grands? or the may race? Yeah at the grands. There is supposed to be a map of the pits online somewhere so you can pick your spot. Heck if I can find it though. Anyway, what I was thinking is, if you are going to get a spot. I could snag 2 of them so they are next to each other.

Brad sounds good!!! Lets try for an end so we can have some lawn. I learned from racing at California Speedway in the summer we are bringing a kiddy pool so that once off the track we can cool down... otherwise it will physically kill ya. www.nckroadracing.com/rrgn-pits.html

Harris Graphics.... www.harrisdecals.com/ Gonna get yer kart all dolled up for the Nats? Oh by the way, I had planned on getting all registered for the Nats last night after the race at Davis. Unfortunately, between the heat and main I discovered FOUR cracks in my frame. I won't be racing that chassis again. Not sure what I am going to do at this point but I'll think of something.
