Dixon I run a 14/59t, but I would really like to try a 61t on the rear, Have not drove the other tracks so that's all I can comment on.

I have been running 15/60 at Dixon. I can't find my notes from the the PC Gold Rush so I don't know what I ran there.

see my older post I asked the same question. My question is now what gearing would work for road racing?

I would start with 23-57 which would work out to 73mph @ 5500 RPM (if it will pull it), while still leaving room to go up or down on the rear if needed. ~Karl

brad42, for sprint gearing see my post here in the clone section - Subject: Clone gearing. I have yet to run at Reno but am looking forward to it. For Davis I took Simons advise and started with 15-60 when I ran there backwards on the short course. I ended up running 15-61 in the main to get a better run up the hill. Running normal direction, full course, I would guess that 15-59/60 would be about right. ~Karl

I was cleaning up my kart today, and realized I lied. I'm actually running 15/57 at Dixon, and have been for as long as I can remember (which is often about 15 minutes!).
