7 F200's for Round 1 of the Heritage West Credit Union Spring Championship, round 2 looks to have a 9 car field. Cory (Driving my kart) and Randy swapped positions all race long allowing Shannon to make it a threesome in the closing laps. Shannon got by 2 laps from the end only to give up the position by a nose at S/F. Fun day for all, the offer stands for any NFRA racers that happen to be in the Salt Lake area to join us, Free entry fee and Paddock garage and I buy the beer.

So if I read this right, 7 entries are F200, and 8 entries are something else. What is the something else? I know you guys have a pretty good GX200 Honda class, is this them?

We run with our Sportsman class which are KT100's Superbox. Our Senior 4/ Honda GX Class had 8 entries this week should see 10 for round 2. The Hondas are box stock sealed engines and on the Starteck track layout we ran Saturday run 7 seconds slower than a F200. The fastest KT's run about 2 seconds slower than the fastest F200.
In all it was a good opening weekend for our program with a total of 100 racers in 11 classes. We lucked out weather wise, turned to rain and snow at the track Sunday 18 inches at my place so can you say SKI DAY today.
