During the weekend, I spoke to Dave Gwin of Emmick Cobra Racing and heard that they might start carrying parts to support our NFRA 4-cycle runners. He stated it is in the works and asked if we could send him a list of the most common parts and accessories that we need to keep ourselves going.
So, I am asking for anyone that reads this thread to please list the parts and pieces that they use most. And when it appears that the majority of you competitors have chimed in, I will compile the list and get it over to Chris or Dave at E/C Racing. Then they will have a good idea of what they need to carry for us.
Note: please be as detailed as you can and brand-specific if possible. That way we have a better chance of them carrying the items you prefer.
I will take the lead and list the items that I need below.
- 40mm axle, must include keyway for 4-cycle or shifter axle sprocket
- RLV #35 split sprockets, 60t through 70T
- Burris tires, 7.1 and 6.0 rears, 4.5 fronts
- Tomar clutches and spare parts, especially, clutch discs and floaters
- Yamaha F200R1 engine parts including, pistons, rings, rods, rod bearings, gaskets, and tools
- Tilletson carb rebuild kits
- Mikuni fuel pump rebuild kits
- Cool Power Green medium engine oil
