Option 1 is with the tail pipe that goes between the header and the muff. Option 2 is just the muff. if you dont have the tail pipe you will want opt.1 . I think

I thought the pipe goes inside the muff and then the whole contraption attaches to the (long) headpipe with springs, just after the 90. I'll have to take a look at mine when I get home. ~Karl
